The misleading innocence of sand and wind

The part of me still thinking i was tough got blown away in just a few minutes. 50 degrees Celcius and 7 Beaufort carving the sand granules into your arms, legs, cheeks.
Whoever considers the beach to be a romantic place: come to Little Sahara and be cured forever.
Qualitatively (sun, sand, wind), it may be lovely.
But in the end everything is a matter of scale.
